    FOUNDER and DIRECTOR

    Jesse Holland, President and Founder, is responsible for the vision and direction of Property Gauge. His needs for turning data into actionalbe information was the inspiration for Property Gauge. Jesse's vision and guidance drove the development of the early versions of the tool. Jesse is an Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM), a Quadel Certified Assisted Housing Manager (AHM) and a Licensed Real Estate Broker in New York State, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. He is a past president of the New York Region Chapter 93 of the IREM Association, and a past Regional Vice President of IREM. As a successful multi-family property owner himself, Jesse knows the nuances and challenges his clients face every day and how to approach these issues with proven solutions to achieve successful outcomes and maximize real estate investment values.

    Adam Holland, MBA, cofounder of Property Gauge has more than 7 years of experience in property management. He is the original creator of the Property Gauge software and has spent years building it into a revolutionary product. Adam is a licensed associate real estate broker in New York State, an Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM). He sits on IREM’s Technology Advisory Council and is an instructor on IREM’s Building Technology Skill Badge. Adam uses a unique understanding of real estate and technology to create simple solutions to complex problems.

    Dave Holland, a Certified Property Manager with Accreditation in Residential Management, brings a wealth of experience in multifamily property management and development. Demonstrating a history of success in resident retention, maximizing owner profits, and improving operational processes, Dave is committed to delivering exceptional results.

    Dave actively volunteers in several organizations. He is currently the chapter president for the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) New York Capital Region Chapter, where he helps organize events and initiatives to promote best practices in property management. Additionally, he serves on the board of the Apartment Professional Trade Society of New York (APTS-NY), a chapter of the National Apartment Association, collaborating with other industry professionals to advance the interests of the multifamily housing industry for both owners and renters.

    Outside of real estate, Dave contributes to the Upstate NY chapter of the Electric Vehicle Association, where he helps promote the adoption of electric vehicles and advocate for policies supporting sustainable transportation. He is also involved in the Sustainability Committee for the Schenectady Greenmarket, working with other volunteers to promote sustainable living practices in the community.

    Dave holds an MBA from The University at Albany , and has his NY State Associate Real Estate Broker's license.

  • Ted Thien

    Ted brings extensive software industry experience and insight to his role at Property Gauge. He is currently Vice President and General Manager of the Transportation Solutions Group within Tyler. In this role, Ted is responsible for the overall business and strategic direction of the group. Under his leadership, the revenues of the group have grown 10 fold and the number of active customers has tripled. Before ascending to his current role, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Before joining Tyler, he co-founded a company specializing in Internet-based supply chain software where he was responsible for all aspects of product development, sales and marketing. He has also worked at Intergraph Corp (now Hexagon Geospatial) on the GeoMedia product and was a Practice Director at Oracle Corp.

    He also serves on the board of directors for several other software companies.

    He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University.

    Jim’s professional career spans over 40 years. From 2003 through 2013 with the Versatrans Division of Tyler Technologies (as Chief Financial Officer and, the last two years, as President), a software company located in the Albany, New York area. Prior to joining VersaTrans, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a number of Albany area firms in a number of industries. His past duties and responsibilities have also involved Mergers & Acquisitions management, development and presentation of business plans to raise capital and development of public offering documents.

    Jim began his professional career in Syracuse, New York with a Big Eight public accounting firm, serving clients in a number of industries, including software technology, manufacturing, banking, retail and distribution. He is a licensed CPA in New York and holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He has served on a number of Boards of businesses and not-for-profit organizations. He is an angel investor and was a founding partner of Tech Valley Angel Network, which helped identify and introduce entrepreneurs to angel investors in upstate New York’s Tech Valley region. He is currently a Managing Director of Eastern New York Angels, a fund focused on providing capital and mentorship to start-up companies in the Tech Valley.

    As a seasoned professional with a diverse background in senior management, insurance, and business sales, Jacob brings over a decade of expertise to the table. With a proven track record of success in various industries, Jacob has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive growth, achieve operational excellence, and deliver exceptional results.

    Dedicating a decade of his career to BBL Hospitality, where he served as a General Manager, then Sr. General Manager, expanding his restaurant leadership to locations from Albany to Queensbury. During this time, he played a pivotal role in the success of the organization, overseeing operations, managing teams, and ensuring superior guest experience.

    In his role as Director at a prominent life insurance company, Jacob displayed strong leadership and instilled in his agents a drive for success in a changing world when everything had to be completed over virtual meetings in 2020. He successfully navigated the complexities of the insurance sector, leading initiatives that enhanced customer satisfaction, optimized processes, and drove revenue growth.

    Jacob further diversified their skill set as an Account Executive at Spectrum Business, a leading provider of telecommunications and internet services. In this role, he excelled in sales and relationship management, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets. His ability to understand clients' needs and tailor solutions made him a valuable asset to both Spectrum Business and its customers.

    With a passion for leadership, a strong focus on customer-centric solutions, and a track record of achieving results across multiple industries, Jacob is a versatile professional who thrives in dynamic environments.
